Calderdale Pride is one of the BIGGEST events in Calderdale.
Calderdale Pride is an annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. It has developed into a vibrant and wholly inclusive event for the residents of Calderdale and beyond.
In 2024 over 25,000 people attended Calderdale Pride and in 2023, a record-breaking 28,000 people attended. We're consistently attracting people from all over the UK and even overseas!
It supports the local economy by bringing local and national businesses that want to support a lively and loyal LGTBQ+ community.
Run by a dedicated group of volunteers, it's a FREE and INCLUSIVE event, relying on donations, grants, fundraising and importantly, sponsorship.
Calderdale Pride is effective because it’s for everyone and aims to foster acceptance by creating a safe space to allow everyone to be their true authentic selves.
