Calderdale Pride

It is with a heavy heart we have to announce that Calderdale Pride 2026 will not be going ahead this year.
As many of you know, this event costs a huge amount of money to put on each year for you all to enjoy, and we have always committed to keeping this free for all to attend.
We fundraise all year round and with the help of incredible sponsors over previous years, we have been able to achieve this. This year however has proven to the toughest yet.
We have seen the difficulties small prides have faced along with the major pride events in the UK. With a difficult environment to apply for grants and funding of which we have previously been successful in, we have had no choice but to come to this decision.
We continue to fundraise and seek sponsorship in order to hold Calderdale Pride 2027 and there will be events coming your way very soon and hopefully this extra time helps us raise the much needed funds.
A huge thank you to Dean Clough for their unwavering support, we cannot wait to return.

As we've made the tough decision to call off Calderdale Pride 2026, it's more important than ever to dial up our fundraising events to support the future of Calderdale Pride.
Planning is underway to bring you diverse, inclusive and entertaining events to fundraise for Calderdale Pride 2027. We aim to bring together and support Calderdale's LGBTQIA+ community in an increasingly difficult economic and political climate.
Keep a lookout and get ready to snap up your tickets quick as we're preparing the best events possible to bring joy, love and laughter! Bring along your friends and loved ones and spread the word on social media.

QueerFest

Tickets are now on sale for Calderdale Pride's annual 'Queerfest' event on Saturday August 15th 2026, in association with Darkland Brewery.
This fundraiser event returns for its FIFTH YEAR with 'Dame Shirley Bazzey' back on hosting duties to welcome and introduce a whole host of fabulous live entertainers!
The event is for adults/18+, as the event is situated in a bar.
